Some Important Information:

My intent and approach in crafting a workshop is to provide a connection between multiple “pieces of the puzzle” that will serve to infuse magickal and personal transformative workings. My main goal is to open the participant to the possibilities and present the material in a way that will stoke and catalyze an interest and desire to seek out more information; while taking into consideration the “bigger picture”. I have found that in most cases, the infusion of multiple outcomes and perspectives actually helps to assist the process of narrowing down the specific area of a participant’s interest through the natural tendency towards sorting those things that we engage and interact with.

With that thought I mind, I feel it is my responsibility as a teacher who chooses to teach in this manner to be sure that the extraneous material is relevant and productive in initializing the desire to learn more. The structure I implement works to establish a bridge between the subject matter, incorporating the energetic nature of the subject area and wherever possible the core concepts of Astrology and Qabalah. This construct is then overlaid with numerology, sacred geometry, sound and color in a way that can be used for practical application. The ultimate goal for this approach is to stimulate the creative nature as it is expressed in all parts of the SELF and use it as a foundation from which growth is the imminent outcome.

Specific Areas of Focus Are:

  • Energetic Protocol (Deity and Ritual)

  • Study and Practical Use of the Qabalah

  • Magickal Writings in the form of Pathworkings, Poetry and as vehicles of Breath

  • Tarot as a tool for self-study and practical application

New for 2012!!

The Tantra of Sound

Chants inspire us, toning enlivens us and the music of the spheres moves through us as vessels for its energy. We are profoundly touched daily by the vibration of sound and for the most part its effect on us remains unnoticed. This class will explore the nature of sound; it’s use and potency for ritual and its transformative potential in daily practice. We will take a closer look at the connection between the written word and its dynamics when pulsed through the vehicle of sound. We will open to a new perspective surrounding some of the tried and true ritual chants that are used and the purposeful thread of sound as used through all religious and spiritual practice from the first sounds of creative outpour to the cornerstones of mantra and tone to awaken the energetic centers.  This class will be highly experiential with focus on INTENT, NOT vocal expertise.  Please bring a large bottle of water with you.

The Witch’s Palette

This workshop will explore the use of color in magickal and personal transformative workings. Color permeates esoteric symbology and its use as an effective tool for shifting consciousness is documented in throughout varied healing and initiatory modalities. Topics will include: The energetic signature of color;  Attuning to your personal color; Use of color for ritual and Magick and the varied correspondences related to color.

In the Labyrinth of the Dark Goddess ~ Hecate

The Dark Goddess Hecate stands at the crossroads and offers challenge to all who will overcome their fears and embrace the work of the shadow of transformation. If we overlay the energy of the Labyrinth  on this intersection of the four roads, we see the deeper levels of insight and complexity that await those who accept the wisdom of Hecate. This workshop will open to Hecate in the form of the labyrinth of time that spirals first in and down towards the core of Self and then returns along the same Path forever transformed. Her tripartite nature as Maiden, Mother and Crone will be discussed and a pathworking will conclude the workshop.

The Breath of Light

On the wings of breath desire is made manifest. Air feeds us, fills us to expand and in the exhale of release leaves the space of void within to be filled. This workshop will focus on the use of breath in energetic practice. Aligning your breathing with the focus and intent of stoking the fires of the creative urge and moving it up and through the chakra vortices allows for more specific outpour to enhance magickal workings. Topics will include the discussion of the aspects of Light as expressed through color and the ultimate blending to a state of pure brilliance as we move the breath upwards towards the Godhead. This workshop is highly experiential and practice of this energetic protocol.

Meditation for The Magickal Practitioner:
The Inner Gateway

Meditation has long been a core practice engaged in by those on a spiritual path. Its benefits in providing a calm center of mind and strengthening of the discipline required for extended points of focus and intent to accomplish a variety of goals in diverse settings have been enjoyed by those who maintain a consistent practice. We will take a look at the varied meditative practices and traditions and the key components of each form. Discussion of how to use these components effectively to improve focus and intent and connect with Deity, as well as suggestions for creating meditation spaces and establishing a personal meditative practice will give you the tools to enhance your magickal practice.

Magickal Studies

SPIRIT into Matter- Intermediate to Advanced

Within many spiritual Paths we find the goal of pursuit to be one of aspiring upwards towards the Godhead; often at the expense of overlooking the continued development of the manifest form of our bodies and physical nature.  This workshop will take an in depth look at the process of maintaining  the energetic circuit of flow that moves both upwards towards our Divine nature and returns, unified back into its place within human form. We will use the interface of the Qabalistic Tree of Life and the energy of its spheres and paths as blueprint for drawing down our refined Selves to enhance our experience of manifest form. Note: Basic knowledge of the Qabalah required.

The Three Faces of Personal Devotion

As we establish a practice that defines our concepts of personal devotion there are cycles that we go through that set the tone for how that devotion will be expressed, nurtured and evolved. This class will explore the practice of devotion through the Triune archetypes of the God and Goddess. How we may identify and better use their specific energies and what becomes the catalyst for moving into a new phase of devotional being.

The Illuminated Wheel

This workshop will present a look at the Witch’s Wheel of the year through the lens of energetic practice and aligning the seasonal energies in support of the turning of the wheel within all parts of Self. Each sabbat will stand as a mini-workshop exploring the concepts of illuminated spark woven through the turning of the wheel. Beginning with Samhain, we will add our individual spark of light and presence to each of the sabbats and conclude with a pathworking to enliven the Illuminated Wheel we carry within.  Topics include: Samhain- Drinking From the Cauldron of Knowledge: To know the steps towards greater knowledge - The Will towards embracing transformation- To Dare to step on the path to the Higher  SELF -  and The Silence of crossing through the Gates of true Gnosis. Yule-The Inner Awakening: This is the time of reaffirming the light within and awaiting the birth of an awakened mind, heart and spirit.  Imbolc-The Quickening Fires of Brighid: The triune Light of Healing, Power and Presence. Ostara- Seeds at Earth’s Core: What lay deep within the belly of the Great Mother and the Midnight Sun that quickens the seeds of new growth. Beltane-The Tantra of Beltane: The Tantric practitioner seeks to use the divine power that flows through the universe (including their own body) to attain purposeful goals. These goals may be spiritual, material or both. Litha- Igniting the Inner Sun: This is the time of power and strength, that if gathered in its fullness will carry us forward into the waning year. Lammas-Sitting in the Place of Sacrifice: What does “sacrifice” truly mean and how can we use it’s nature of potentiality as Magickal Beings.  Just as John Barleycorn willingly dies, so must we open ourselves to the place of sacrifice within that sits at the threshold of spiritual transformation.  Mabon-Opening to the Anima Mundi (World Soul): The Anima Mundi is a “pure ethereal spirit diffused throughout all nature, regarded by ancient philosophers as being the divine essence which embraces and energizes all life in the universe”. It is the Soul of the World which animates and informs all things.

Developing Your Intuitive Self

Everyone has at one time or another had a “feeling” about something that occurred which was either heeded or dismissed as the stuff of superstition. We all desire greater knowledge, but often neglect the responsibility that is partner to gaining more wisdom. The Witch’s Pyramid is based on the precepts:  To Know- To Will- To Dare and To Be Silent.

Yule- The Inner Awakening: This is the time of reaffirming the light within and awaiting the birth of an awakened mind, heart and spirit.  We will discuss the metaphorical and esoteric meaning of the return of the light and the birth of the Sun King and what steps we may take to nurture the burgeoning light within as we sit silently in the darkness of the longest night.

Imbolc-The Quickening Fires of Brighid: The Goddess Brighid is the triple flame of our heart, will and mind. This workshop will explore these aspects of her energy and begin the process of enlivening those energies to serve as the fires of quickening within.

Ostara- Seeds at Earth’s Core: The belly of the Great Mother contains all that we need to grow, thrive and reach our full potential. To access this place of power and change we must connect more fully and deeply to the core of our own being. We will dive deeply into our own core of being, water the seeds of growth and await the blooms that are ready to reach upwards.

Beltane-The Tantra of Beltane: The Tantric practitioner seeks to use the divine power that flows through the universe (including their own body) to attain purposeful goals. These goals may be spiritual, material or both. This workshop will explore the many meanings of the Sacred Union of the God and Goddess.  By definition Tantra means  “ an accumulation of practices and ideas which has among its characteristics the use of ritual, energy work, the use of the mundane to access the supramundane and the identification of the microcosm with the macrocosm. The Tantric practitioner seeks to use the divine power that flows through the universe (including their own body) to attain purposeful goals. These goals may be spiritual, material or both.’ This energy is the foundation of sexual, alchemical ad spiritual union. Join us as we take a look at the rich symbolism of this Sabbat and use its energy to consummate our Sacred Union with the Divine.

This workshop will discuss the inter-connectedness of all living creatures. Using this understanding we will have greater connection to nature and those animal guides that share our world.

Sleeping with The Goddess: The Beginnings

From a pagan perspective women’s mysteries are part of our everyday Path.  This workshop will uncover, explore and unleash the power of that wisdom.  A look at our place in history, the present reawakening and the power of our future will be some of the topics discussed. Techniques and practical application for tapping into and harnessing the wisdom of our bodies and mind will be reviewed.  The workshop will culminate with a ritual of empowerment and dedication to the sacred feminine within.  Please wear comfortable clothes, a soft towel or yoga mat and a flower for the altar. This workshop is gender specific to females or those who are strongly attuned to the feminine polarity.

The Seven Veils of Hathor: A Study of Women's Mysteries: This workshop is an exploration and study of womens' mysteries through the gifts of the Goddess Hathor.  The Egyptian Goddess Hathor is most commonly known as the goddess of love, beauty and music. If we look at these components as Metaphors for The Triad of Creation and enlightenment we come to know Hathor as the cosmic serpent   This workshop will open us to the gifts of the uraeus as we move through the seven veils (our subtle bodies) of HER mysteries . The class will incorporate the use of sound, breath, music and dance to awaken the power of the feminine, the corresponding lunar energies within and to connect with this energy of creative outpour and reclaim the power of our Divine Kingship. The workshop will conclude with a self-designed ritual dance honoring the sacred feminine.  Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable to movement.

The Call of the Dark Goddess: Embracing the Shadow SELF-The Morrigan, Sekhmet, Cailleach, Kali- these names bring fear and foreboding to most. These are the Dark Goddesses of death, destruction and immense power of transformation. To answer the call is to begin a journey of discovery and excavation of the unconscious processes that keep us from more fully stepping into our synthesis of power. This workshop will explore the nature of this power and how this energy is intimately connected to what Jung termed the “shadow aspect”. We will look at the archetypes of the Dark Goddess and what properties of healing, transformation and growth they can bring to the work of creating a working relationship with those darker, more hidden part of self. Please bring a small amulet, crystal or token to be empowered as tool for connecting with the Shadow Self and a small offering to be given to the energy of the Dark Goddess. A pathworking  of the shadow self will conclude the workshop.

Wisdom of the Crone: This workshop will explore the myth and many facets of the Goddess as Crone.  We will discuss the use of the Crone’s energy in daily and spiritual work, honoring the Crone within us and what the responsibilities and charges of becoming a “Crone” mean as a rite of passage.  We will finish the session with a Pathworking to ask for blessings from the Crone and receive any message she may have for us. Please bring a small token or amulet to be dedicated as a personal key to accessing your Crone energy. (Please note:  This class is not gender or age-specific)
